All of us are disgusted by the news of P&O Ferries illegally sacking 800 seafarers via video. The brutal sackings, overseen by DP World, the owners of P&O Ferries, was carried out with just 30 minutes' notice, with no consultation.
These workers were hard working, loyal employees who do not deserve such disgraceful treatment.
The RMT and Nautilus International have put a call for international solidarity for the sacked workers.
Can you take just 2 minutes to either record or upload a solidarity message of support for the workers, unions & activists taking on P&O Ferries?
Press play to find out how: 👇
Your support will be an enormous boost to the workers, and the RMT and Nautilus International in their fight to defend and reinstate the sacked workers.
No one should lose their livelihood without any warning. And we won’t let this go unchallenged.
We must make sure that P&O Ferries face consequences for their immoral and illegal actions.
If you haven’t already, please sign on to the P&O Global Letter of Protest, which ITF General Secretary, Stephen Cotton will deliver to DP World, the owners of P&O in Dubai on March 29.
Thanks for your solidarity: the workers united, will never be defeated.
